Join us for the 4th year of the traditional Quadrilha Festival with attractions such as Live forro band,(Forro Roots), axe, hip hop and much much more. June 23rd @ 1pm in The Square, Gort, Co. Galway Looking forward to seeing you all there. The annual Brasilian Festival started 3 years ago in Gort and has become a popular medium for the local Brasilians to express themselves and share a little of their culture with the Irish people.

Gort is a small town in the west of Ireland with the largest proportionate population of Brasilians in the country. The first arrivals in 2000 came mainly from the cities of Anapolis and Goiania. They have been well received by the local community and have made a positive and valuable contribution to the area.
